This project was a 2 week short and sharp brief, in which we could choose to create whatever work we wanted, perhaps to expand areas of our portfolio that may be more limited than others. I chose to create and write my own trend forecast including a trend statement, vibe and mood boards, and fashion direction images. I then created a collection of simple yet graphic surface pattern designs and interpreted the trend with a series of fashion illustrations and fashion flats showcasing how these prints could be used. One of my favourite pieces from this brief is the large scale conceptual fashion illustration that I created.

This project was really less about the print designs themselves and more about the colour palette, vibe and overall presentation of the trend/ trend boards.
